![]() one of Southeastern Montana's best-kept secrets! "Thank you for
providing us with the perfect getaway from our busy city lives. We were
able to reconnect with nature in the beautiful sunrises, the wide array
of bird life on the lake (saw at least 8 different kinds), the lake trail
& singing of crickets on the soft night breezes coming through the
open windows. The home cooked breakfasts were delicious and the warm hospitality
made us feel right at home. This is a spot we will always remember." Liv & Peter from Chicago, Illinois |

We are located on Highway 39, 28 miles south of Forsyth Montana (Interstate 94). We are 20 miles north of Lame Deer, a historically rich Northern Cheyenne Native American town with its renowned Pow Wows. Hardin, located west of us 80 miles, has live reenactments of the Little Bighorn Battle in late June.
Everyone deserves an occasional Getaway. Imagine yourself pedaling
or rowing around the Lake in one of our boats, perhaps even fishing. It's
totally relaxing and like another world out on the water.... A walk around
the lake at any time of the day is wonderful, but morning and evening
is exceptional. Or, you can watch and listen to the variety of birds the
lake attracts. The peace and quiet, along with the beautiful scenery is
guaranteed to be memorable. Sit on the balcony and read about the local
history, plan an excursion into the back country with local experts, golf
the nearby 9 hole course, horse back riding, etc.-- wonderful opportunities
are awaiting discovery. We look forward to welcoming you into our Inn and meeting
you, as well!
